C-FRAME PRESSES AND RIGID GAP FRAME PRESSES:
DOUBLE-WALLED C-FRAME:
Press access to table and tools are from all four sides.
The machine has deep throat and large die space.This gives
it a practically unlimited duty range & full utilization.
MACHINE BODY AND TABLE:
Casting frame of High-Grade Cast Iron or complete
MS steel plates construction as Cast Iron body forms,
the rugged back-borne of the entire press, combines a
number of major advantages that are not apparent such
as minimum spring effect to high rigidity,unvarying
accuracy and capacity to its high weight.
SIDES:
Sides are provided with weight equalization, so that
absolutely uniform, precise and properly executed
guaranteed with heaviest die-sets.long slide guides with
extra-long sliding surfaces independent of the frame;no
Running-Up of the Slide Base into the guides.
Simple adjustment of the guides is possible at any time.
Standardized tool shank hole and clamping block for
tool holding. Step less adjustment of the slide height
by ratchet on the strong screw. Large base with T-Slots
for clamping the punches. Bar type ejector on slide will
be provided. Plain bolster with bolts, nuts and washers
will be provided.
STROKE:
Stoke is adjustable in the time saving familiarities in presses.
Exceptionally wide adjustment range.
BEARINGS:
Big end and main bearings are interchangeable bushes
of large area in Bronze alloy. Main bearings have maximum
working accuracy and unexcelled durability, also efficient
heat removal. The bearings of the Crankshaft on either side
of the connecting rod produce robust running gear of perfect
determination. Back gear and Intermediate Shaft run in
anti-friction bearings.
CLUTCH AND BRAKE:
A combined clutch and brake unit is fitted, of electro
pneumatic friction type. Also Robust "RUSHWORTH"
type DOG CLUTCH unit is fitted.
GEARS AND PINIONS:
Spur or single helical gear and pinion will be provided
to light presses.Double gears and pinions - spur or single
helical types are fitted to heavy duty presses. Gear and
pinion guard will be fitted to the gearings.Suitable flywheel
will be provided with guards.
DRIVE:
For normal drive a motor with automatic Star-Delta starting
and boosted starting torque is employed. Medium slip TEFC
squirrel cage induction motor with controls to suit 440V,
3 Phase, 50-cycle supply.
SAFETY GUARD:
Overload safeguard integrally designed into the slide as
protection against inadvertent overloading. Single stroke
non-repeat safeguard for single stroke operation.
CENTRAL LUBRICATION:
The press is equipped with a compressed-air-operated central
Lubrication system of highly reliable design. Also transparent
oil cups will be fitted to all automatic lubrication system.
